We, the congregation of the Cedar Rock Missionary Baptist Church, believe that the local church is the body of Christ; therefore, we have established our purpose to be that of having a visible form of faith and fellowship to which God has called His people. We shall seek to fulfill this calling through corporate services and;
1. Through the aid of the Holy Spirit, we will develop a Christ-like character. (Philippians 2:5)
2. Through praise and thanksgiving as in the days of David and Asaph, we will worship God. (Nehemiah 12:46)
3. Through proclamation of the Gospel by word and deed. (Luke 4:18-19) (James 1:22-25)
4. Through fervent prayer and evangelism, we will spread the gospel of Jesus Christ at home and abroad. (Matthew 28:19-20)
5. Through diligent study and preparation, we will teach God's plan of salvation for mankind. (Luke 19:10) (2 Timothy 2:15)
6. Through stewardship of our time, talents, and tithes, we will support our missionary and Christian education efforts.
